Michelle Julia Ng

Building the future of artificial intelligence.

Stanford AI researcher. Three patents deployed in Apple AirPods and FindMy. Computer vision and multimodal systems.

Research Focus

My work centers on the intersection of computer vision, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. I've contributed to systems that bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and practical applications affecting millions of users.

At Stanford, I conducted computer vision research funded by Fei-Fei Li and worked on LLM-augmented cognition systems in Monica Lam's Open Virtual Assistant Lab. My research in multimodal modeling at the Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis explored new ways of understanding and processing diverse data types.

Patents & Technical Contributions

Three patents in system intelligence and computer vision, now implemented in Apple's consumer products including AirPods and FindMy technology. These innovations focus on machine learning for real-time analysis (MLRA) and advanced sensing capabilities.
